  • Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, meal plans generated, and session duration.
  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to a premium plan, payment details are processed securely through our third-party payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
  • Device & Technical Data: We may collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar technical identifiers to ensure proper functionality of the service.

2. AI-Generated Meal Plans

  • Meal Planner Pro uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to generate personalised weekly meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, and nutritional recommendations.
  • Your onboarding quiz responses — including dietary preferences, health goals, allergies, and physical metrics — are processed by AI systems to create meal plans tailored to you.
  • AI-generated plans are created algorithmically and are intended for general informational and wellness purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.
  • While we strive to ensure accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We recommend consulting a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have underlying health conditions.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate and personalise your AI-powered meal plans and nutritional recommendations.
  • To manage your account, process payments, and provide customer support.
  • To improve our AI models, platform features, and overall user experience.
  • To send you service-related communications such as plan updates, subscription receipts, and support responses.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
  • We share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform, including: Supabase (database and authentication), OpenAI (AI meal plan generation), Lemon Squeezy (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting infrastructure). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
  • We may disclose information if required to do so by law or if we believe such action is necessary to protect our rights or comply with a legal process.

5. Data Retention

  • We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at team@meal-planner.pro. We will fulfil deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
